City of Edmonton Budget 2006

CUPE Local 30 President Alex Grimaldi made a presentation to City Council on November 24 concerning the proposed City of Edmonton Budget for 2006.

Alex particularly acknowledged the City needs more stable funding to support infrastructure development and service delivery, but asked also that Council remember its obligation to be fair to its employees, many of whom — due to provisional status — have access to fewer benefits than their colleagues.
